Housing

Emergency Shelter Facilities
Two confidential shelter locations with a total of 85 beds provide a safe haven for women and children suffering from all types of abuse. In addition to clean and secure shelter facilities, residents receive food, clothing, and other necessities. Individual and group crisis intervention is available to all shelter residents.

Transitional Housing Program
Transitional housing provides additional support to help bridge the gap between leaving an abusive situation and independent living. Tucson Centers for Women and Children provides low-cost housing in collaboration with New Beginnings Mohave Program. Participants eligible for this program must be employed or enrolled in school. This program is available to women with children ages six and under.

Supportive Housing Program
This six month program is for women with or without children who are homeless due to domestic violence. Participants in the program receive financial assistance to obtain safe permanent housing. Support and education for domestic violence issues is provided through case management and support groups
