Case Manager
Qualifications
- BA, BS in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field
- Equivalency in experience
- Must be 21 years old
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of the dynamics of Domestic Violence
- In-depth case management and crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of case management procedures and individual client treatment planning
- Knowledge of group facilitation and dynamics
- Computer Skills required-Microsoft Office Applications
- Bilingual competence desirable
Duties
- Individual and/or group case management with residents and/or their children
- Individual and/or group case management with outpatient clients
- Case notes and other documentation daily to complete files and update records
- Network with and make appropriate referrals to community agencies, assessing available services appropriate to clients' needs
- General shelter coverage including crisis phone coverage and supervision of household activities
- Attend daily/weekly briefings
- Attend monthly In-Service
Childcare Specialist
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months experience in a childcare setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative needs of young children
- Experience working with parents or demonstration of ability to relate to parents and to understand their needs and requests
- Ability to relate positively to young children is essential
- Ability to function as part of a team
Duties
- Write and implement lesson plans and a daily schedule
- Ensure that children are consistently engaged in well-supervised, age-appropriate and enjoyable activities
- Arrange an attractive classroom climate to encourage exploration, creativity and decision making by children
- Offer every child physical affection, verbal praise, encouragement and acceptance while providing clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior, setting limits when necessary
- Attend workshops and training's

Accountant
30-hour per week exempt position. Hours may vary.
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrates skill for accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Maintains confidentiality
- Must have a valid current driver’s license and reliable transportation available for use throughout the workweek
Education and Experience
- At a minimum must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting OR Associates degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting OR 6 years experience in accounting
- Working knowledge of current accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll procedures
- Experience using QuickBooks required, Pro Premier 2007 non-profit edition preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel (XP), MS Word (XP), MS Outlook (2003) and 10-key (speed and accuracy), additionally MS Access knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge of principals, concepts and practices of non-profit organizations preferred
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
