Case Management

Tucson Centers for Women and Children's approach to case management is to educate through empowerment. Tucson Centers for Women and Children empowers the program participant to feel confident about herself and provides her with the resources she needs to make positive decisions.

Referrals
TCWC maintains contact with many social service agencies throughout the area. Information regarding medical, legal, childcare, housing and other services are available to residential and outreach clients.

Individual Case Management
One-on-one case management is available to each resident on a daily basis. Experienced, trained case managers help residents develop plans geared toward addressing physical, emotional, and financial needs. Both short- and long-range goals are established and assistance in reaching those goals is provided.

Outreach Services
Individual sessions are offered to women in the community who are experiencing family difficulties but who are not in immediate need of shelter. Experienced case managers assist women with short- and long-range planning, to resolve potentially harmful situations.

Weekly Support Groups
Tucson Centers for Women and Children hosts weekly support groups for individuals who have been exposed to domestic violence. Weekly sessions are free and open to program participants and individuals in the community.
